He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Delaney and Agnes Bieser Delaney; his wife Rosemary Bregenhorn; and his brothers, Lawrence Delaney, Robert "Bob" Delaney and Bernard Delaney.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Delaney (Meg) of Winnetka, Daniel Delaney (Barb) of Glen Carbon, Therese Burgess (Michael) of Jacksonville, Bob Delaney of Jacksonville, Ed Delaney (Julie) of Irving and Sandra Bova (Steve) of Sherman. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law.
Memorials are suggested to Our Saviour Grade School or the Alzheimer's Association.
