She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Samuel and Lila Mabel McDaniels Hopkins; her husband Charles Burton; her daughters, Angela Hadden Lindley (Daniel) of Jacksonville and Jennifer Hadden Moore (Brian) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, JD Lindley and Kirsten Lindley (Jordan Snyder); her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon and Clara Snyder; her brother Dr. Joseph Richard Hopkins (Abbe) of Santa Barbara; her granddaughter Allie Dolen (Michael); and her brother Jerry Hopkins. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
