He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Lashmett and Minnie Rita Lashmett; his son Craig; and his siblings, George (Mary), Jimmy (Marcella), Bill (Lucille), Wilma (Don), Geraldine (Don), Dan, Larry (Nancy), Warren (Susan), Judy, Thomas, Ned and Sarah.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Smith of Jacksonville; his sons, John of Chicago, Pearce of Lake Forest and Jackson Lashmett (Sarah) of Winchester; his daughter-in-law Barb Lashmett of Winchester; his grandchildren, Tim (Celeste) of Winchester, Phillip (Lindsey Foubester) of Winchester, Wes (Kaylie) of Winchester, Abby Whewell (Brandon) of Winchester, Millie of Winchester, Jackie of Winchester and Gracie Lashmett of Winchester; his great grandchildren, AJ, Annalynn Lashmett, Jameson Lashmett and Jack Whewell; and his sisters, Carol Sellars (Bob) of Winchester and Linda Slagle (Ron) of Winchester.
