He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sandman and Maxine Landes Sandman; his former wife Mary Kay Williamson; his wife Kaye Strubbe Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann Harris and Carol Kilpatrick.
He is survived by: his children, Henry Ray "Hank" Suter, Jr. of Jacksonville and Diana Bimm (Shayne) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Carl Shayne "Ky" Bimm II (Kaitlin) of Bowling Green, MO and Kayla Jean Hassel (David) of Carlinville; his great grandchild Henry Michael Hassel; his sister Brenda Havens (Dean) of Murrayville; and his brothers-in-law, John Harris and Tom Kilpatrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
