He is survived by: his wife Nancy Heaton; his daughters, Sheryl Roberts (David) of Winchester, Sonya Stevens (Ole) of Libertyville and Shelly Black of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Nolan Roberts, Allison Rounds (Alex), Melissa Roberts (Brent Long), Justin Stevens, Sean Stevens and Finley Black; his great grandchild Hendrix Long; and his siblings, Greg Spangenberg (Dona) of Boise, ID, Jaclyn Farmer (Ron) of Jacksonville and Jill Parker (Joel) of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Central Christian Church, Parkinson's Disease Foundation, or Jacksonville Public Schools Foundation.
