Garry W. Hoots Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry W. Hoots of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hoots and Virginia Nutgrass Hoots; and his siblings, Roger Hoots, David Hoots, Donald Hoots, Thurman Hoots, Judy Hawkins, Patty Baptist and Connie Hoots.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his sons, Chuck Hoots (Kora) of Marion, IN and Dave Smith (Shona) of Mount Gilead, NC; and his sister Kay Garman (Don) of South Jacksonville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great- grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
