With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Mae Albers (Jacksonville, Illinois), who passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Magelitz and Emma Magelitz (Enke); her brothers, Harry and Alvin; her sister-in-law Maxine (Rausch); her daughter-in-law Brenda (Goodrow); and her grandson Matthew Albers.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven, Howard and Paul; her grandchildren, Michael, John Paul, Diane, Mark, Micah, Melanie Scheafer and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Madelyn, John, Hailey Scheafer, Isabella Scheafer, Hunter Roberts, Lucy, Noah and James; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tristan BehrWojcik, Gabe Eckert, Lila Eckert and Isabella Mattingly; and her sister-in-law Wilma (Meier).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home (1100 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650).
