With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy M. Covey of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Dixon and Ada Barnes Dixon; her husband Robert Covey; her son James R. Covey; and her siblings, Raymond Dixon, Howard Dixon, Bill Dixon, Joe Dixon, Jesse Dixon, Jean Rouland and Ada Wright.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary P. Covey of Jacksonville; her granddaughter Heather Krosman (Daryl) of Beaverton, OR; and her great grandchildren, Briar Cooper and Chase Krosman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Morgan County Animal Control or Gentiva Hospice.
