He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald D. Werries and Leona Mae Werries (Baldwin); his wife Lisa Hughes; his son Garett Werries; his stepchildren, Adam Schnake (Robin McKinley) of Virginia, Cara Crain (Kyle) of Winchester and Brenna Schnake (Daniel McQuillen) of White Hall; his grandchildren, Madalynn and Nolan Werries; his stepgrandchildren, Caleb Schnake, Eli, Eryn Crain, Emrie, Darcie and Brooks McQuillen; his brother Mark Werries (Susan) of Gillette, WY; and his close friends, Mike and Pat Mussatto.
Memorials may be donated to the First Baptist Church or the Jacksonville Public Library.
