It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Griffin formerly of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Patty Ann Birdsong; his sisters, Lizzy, Bonnie and Ann Marie; and his wife Patty.
He is survived by: his children, Ursala Griffin (Miller), Daniel R. Griffin (Kathy) of Metamora, Todd C. Griffin (Sandy) of Jacksonville and Susan D. Davidson of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Rachel Ford (Rich) of Metamora, Megan Griffin of Metamora, Tyler Griffin (Katelyn) of Jacksonville, Logan Griffin (Ashley) of Jacksonville and Morgan Gimbel of Jacksonville; his great grandchildren, Emily, Kayden, Paige Jackson-Stille of Jacksonville, Madeleine, Sophia Ford of Metamora, Brianna, Amiyah, Robert, Ronan Butler of Jacksonville, Pierce and Vivianne Griffin of Jacksonville; and his aunt Geni Olson of Arizona.
