She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie "Ted" and Pearle Bridges Hatchel; her daughter Vicki Jo; her brothers, Myron, Harvey, George and Everett Hatchel; and her stepson Steve Bates.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Earl (Todd) of Sadorus; her grandchildren, Danielle Chenoweth of Champaign, Kristen Oates (Ernie) of Clovis, Calif of Sadorus, Wyatt of Sadorus and Garett Earl of Sadorus; her great grandchildren, Kaedan and Dylan Chenoweth; her stepchildren, Daniel Bates, Jr. (Glenda) of Ivesdale, Debbie Kamradt of Tolono, Kathy Ard of Chillicothe, Theresa McNew (Gene) of Mahomet and Laurie Jackson (Jeff) of Mahomet; and her siblings, Jack Hatchel (Carol) of Haven, KS, Harlen Hatchel of Tuscola, Florence Laughlin (Don) of Atwood, Minnie Vandeventer of Camargo and Doris Schull of Villa Grove. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
