He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mort, Clarence, Carl, Edgel, Jimmy, Ola, Lola Mae, Zelma, Evelyn, Ethel and Wilma.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma F. Jean Harper; his sons, Johnny Lee (Cheri) of Laplace, IL, David (Kim) of Bement, IL, Mark (Melody) of Bement, IL and Everett (Eileen) of Martinsville, VA.; and his grandchildren, John D., Steve, Andrea, Joshua, Brittany, Matthew, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Lesley, Emily and Elivia.
