He was predeceased by: his brother Charles Borcherding; and his parent-in-law Harvey May, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Fredrick J. Borcherding and Ruth Emma Borcherding (Behnke); his sons, Steven (Karen Borcherding), Seth (Sami Borcherding) and Iuka; his grandchildren, Sophia, Ethan and Claire Borcherding; his sister Virginia Arnold (Gary) of Mt. Olive, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Fran Borcherding of Lincoln, NE, Ann Elkins (Bill) of Salem and Joyce King (Nick).
