With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evanell Burroughs (Iuka, Illinois), born in Wayne, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jones and Nora Jones (Belden); her children, Jerry Burroughs, James Burroughs, Alan Burroughs and Donna Joan Colclasure; and her siblings, Charlotte Allison (Glen), Wanda Jones, Verlene Jennings Ward, Harlen Jones (Fern) and Raymond Jones.
She is survived by: her spouse Loyal D. Burroughs; her daughter Elaine Welty (Joe) of Xenia; her children-in-law, Karon Burroughs of Iuka, Carol Burroughs of Kell, Jan Burroughs of Joplin, Missouri and Herman "Sonny" Colclasure of Xenia; and her grandchildren, Terry Burroughs (Lynn), Rodney Colclasure (Roberta), Tony Colclasure (Kandi), Troy Burroughs, Stephen Burroughs (Kim), Jennifer Timm (Jason), Robin Booth (Calvin), Robb Fisher (Tammy), David Burroughs, LaRanda Ferrero (Jeff), Angie Bundy (Brett) and Alane Golubski (Keith). She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to New Liberty General Baptist Church or to any charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted through the funeral home.
