Betty Jane Reed Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 88, Betty Jane Reed of Iuka, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Doetch and Agnes Doetch (Dietz); her siblings, John, Imogene, Margaret, Dorothy, June, Lamoine, Bill, Troy, Harold, Phyllis and Mary; and her son Clayton Karl Reed.
She is survived by: her significant other Raymond Branch; her children, Doug Branch of Iuka, Greg Branch (Kris) of Iuka, Terry Branch (Kathy) of Kinmundy and Janet Bullard (Rob) of Iuka; and her grandchildren, Brendan Bullard (Jillin) of Salem, Rhiannon Stroud (Ian) of Salem, Rhett Bullard of Texico and Lindy Branch of Iuka. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home and Cremation Services (310 N Broadway, Salem, IL 62801). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home Chapel (310 N Broadway, Salem, IL 62801).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marion County 4-H Foundation or the Salem Ministerial Alliance to support the Senior Meals Program and will be accepted at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home, 310 N. Broadway/PO Box 97 Salem, Illinois 62881 (618) 548-1234.
