He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edwards and Beverly Daehn; and his siblings, Shirley Boyd and Dan Edwards (Charlene). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Aimee Edwards (Joe), Jason Edwards (Gosia) and Allison McCarthy (Darren); his grandchildren, Dayne, Chad, Ashley, Jenna, Owen, Harper, Tony and Juliette; and his sister Esther Edwards. He is also survived by his family, countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oaks Funeral Home (1201 Irving Park Rd, Itasca, IL 60143). Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Viator's Church (4170 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60641). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery (6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Springbrook Nature Center in Itasca to honor Tom's deep love for nature.
