She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Stephenson and Reeva Stephenson (Olds); and her sister Marilyn Wentz. She is survived by: her husband John Edward Sonin; her children, Darci Sonin (Jim Vorisek) of Hebron, IL, Susan Ralph (George) of Rockford, IL, John of Douglas, AK, Patrick (Sara) of St. Charles, IL, Michael of Schaumburg, IL and Jim (Sharon) of St. Charles, IL; her grandchildren, Kaylen, Shannon, Morgan, Jack, Brent and Kate; and her sister Pam Wroblewski (Bill) of Wyanet, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
