He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn; his children, Laura Koch (David), Cathy Filippelli, Janet Alonso (Paul Hezlett) and Rob Sperl (Katie); his grandchildren, Lucas Alonso (Nicole Chargois), Marlo Tokash (Zylon), Ethan, Cara, Eva, Megan, Marc, Jenna, Maddie and Ashton; his great grandchildren, Josephine, Arlo and Jade; and his siblings, Richard Sperl (Kathleen) and Mary Sperl.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oaks Funeral Home (1201 Irving Park Rd, Itasca, IL 60143). A prayer was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
