With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice Morand (Itasca, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on April 9, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Gus Karambelas and Joseph Morand; her parents, John Talaga and Bernice Talaga; and her siblings, Ted, Cas, Jen, Henry, Lorry and John.
She is survived by: her children, Sam (Lupe) and Sandy (Ed); and her grandchildren, Lisa, Anastasia, Katrina, Eric, John and Sherrian. She is also survived by nephews, and the many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oaks Funeral Home (1201 Irving Park Rd, Itasca, IL 60143). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Julian Eymard (601 Biesterfield Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lurie Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
