She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Maxson, Jr. of Island Lake, IL; her daughter Robin Lepa (Craig) of Cresco, IA; her brother Amos Mitchell (Carol) of Chicago, IL; and her sister-in-law Gloria Mitchell of Edgewater, FL. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Maureen's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
