With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Patterson of Island Lake, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on December 30, 2024 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles and Alice Virginia Patterson; his sons, William Charles and Richard Henry; his brother Joseph Phinney; his nephew William "Floyd" Patterson; and his niece Julie Lynn Arvin.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, Joshua and Justin; and his siblings, William Patterson, Michael Phinney, Velvet Patterson and Teresa Patterson. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013).
