He is survived by: his mother Mary Short (Baran); his daughter Christine Short; his stepchildren, George Thompson Jr. (Kimberly) of Litchfield, Amanda Hessenaur (Rodney) of Highland and Chrystal Thompson of Irving; and his stepgrandchildren, Emily, Dyllan and Bridget.
