She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Best and Helen Best (Schwartzle); her brothers, Edwin Henry Best Jr. and Charles Ray Best; and her brother-in-law Billy Spikes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alda Eddington of Irving, Illinois, Diane Eddington of Irving, Illinois and Marla Sidwell (Chris) of Irving, Illinois; her siblings, Wilma Spikes of Witt and Eldon Best (Joyce) of Taylorville; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Best of Pana and Lois Best of Rushville, Illinois. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and her many honorary grandchildren.
The family asks that memorials be made to Irving Methodist Church in Irving, Illinois or Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, Illinois.
