He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus and Leocadia; his great-nephew Cameron; his nephew James Verden, Jr.; and his brother-in-law James Verden, Sr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Ted (Maxine) and Sandy Verden (late Jim); and also Robin.
