It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Jean Thomson of Iola, Illinois, born in Montrose, Illinois, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raul Bolin and Mary Bolin (Oakley); her husband Joseph L. Thomson, Sr.; her stepfather Hank Poe; her granddaughter Kristen Miranda Boose; her great grandchild Million Markcole Roberson; and her sisters, Gloria Goodman, Marilyn Feldhake, Shirley Stanley, Bonita Kuhlman and Marie Sparling.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Thomson, Jr. of Iola, Timothy Thomson (Judy) of Watson, Barbara Boose of Mt. Vernon, Pamela Samples (Joe) of Mt. Vernon and Shirley McCoy of Farina, Illinois; and her siblings, Mary Beth Shoemaker of Oskaloosa, Peggy Spracklen of Pekin, Teddie Knox of Lubbock and Michael Poe of Altamont, Illinois.. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory to Patsy to the American Heart Association.
