He is survived by: his wife Mabel Cowger; his children, Gordon Cowger (Vickey) of Teutopolis and Laural Ackerman (Brett) of Newton; his daughter-in-law Glenda Cowger of Wheeler; his grandchildren, Darlene Coffin, Jacque Holsapple, Jacob Cowger, Brittany Ackerman, Reid Ackerman and Tia Cowger; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Coffin, Sarah Coffin, Rachel Coffin, Grant Ackerman, Meredith Ackerman and Blake Ackerman; and his brother James Cowger of Nashville, Tennessee..
