We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2023, at the age of 85, Richard E. Swanson of Ingleside, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia L. Rydin; his parents, Adolph Pearson and Birgit Pearson; his brothers, Raymond E. and Edward E. Swanson; his stepbrother Johnny Pearson; his nephew Alan Ector; his son-in-law Roger Laskowski; and his pet Bonnie.

He is survived by: his children, Rick (Lynn), Russ (Jeri), Christy, Cindy (Roger Laskowski), Randy (Mary) and Mia (Frank Beaten); and his pet Clyde. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
