He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden James "Pat" and Beulah Atkins; his wife Kathleen Atkins; and his former wife Marilyn Atkins. He is survived by: his son Dana Atkins (Kathy); his grandchildren, Michael Atkins (Kayla) and Robin Zofia Atkins; and his brothers, James Atkins (Sandra) and Michael "Mick" Atkins (Linda).
