She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Shabatura and Dell Shabatura; and her sister Eileen (Kenny). She is survived by: her husband Phill Tichy; her stepchildren, Sandra Smith (Chris), Jennifer Jenkins (Corey) and Phillip Tichy (Aiden); and her siblings, Donny (Robin), Cindy, Patty (Brad) and Bobby (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations (12 N Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake, IL 60020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Grant Cemetery (26730 W Molidor Rd, Ingleside, IL 60041).
