With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Lindsey of Industry, Illinois, born in Cordova, Alabama, who passed away on December 1, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willam Raymond and Ruby Pauline Bookout Cooper; her grandson Christoper M. Engel; and her siblings, Pat Nations and Arthur Ray Cooper.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Lindsey, Jr.; her daughters, Janet Leigh Lindsey (Ron) of Industry, Marchetta A. Engel (Mike) of Quincy, Tina Rae Reed of Macomb and Kimla Kay Lindsey of Bushnell; and her brothers, Robert Cooper (Glenda) of Alabama and Virgil Cooper (Bonnie) of Alabama. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
