He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Martin and Marie Danner Martin; his son James Martin, Jr.; his brothers, Wayne and Harland Martin; and his brother-in-law Stan Carman.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Litchfield; his children, Julie Adair (Scott) of Macomb, Joe Martin (Melissa) of Macomb and Jerry Martin (Heather Downs) of Industry; his grandchildren, Dustin, Kylie, Hailey, Beau, Addi, Gavin and Ella; and his sister Doris Carman of Macomb.
Memorials may be made to the Industry Fire Department or MDH Hospice.
