Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ernestine Burris of Indianola, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 99, on December 19, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wahlfeldt and Anna Wahlfeldt (Guth); her grandchild Eddie Burris; and her siblings, Robert, Dorothy Alexander, Martha Ann Wahlfeldt, Ruth Ellen Ashby (Ruth), Norma Jean Holycross and Evelyn Nolan.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Debbie Gourard, Anita O'Mellon (Timothy), Rebecca Hopkins, Tammi Hinkle (Greg), Charles Wade Branham of Lebanon, IN, Ryan Adkins (Nicole), Jake Adkins (Christina) of Sheridan, IN, Dan High (Jessa) and Kevin High (Connie Martin); and her brother Richard Wahlfeldt of Danville. She is also survived by step grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren as well as dear nieces and nephews.
It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or services wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Ernestine requests no flowers for her funeral, and memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or School in Danville, IL or according to individual preference.
