He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thomas and Elsie Lanham Thomas; and his siblings, Cloyd Camplin, Paul, Dale, Harold Pearman, Charles Reffett, Blanche Delfose, Frances Wright, Edward Thomas, James Thomas, Alberta Livingood and Mary Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Staley; his sons, Brian Thomas of Indianola and John Thomas (Pamela) of Fairmount; and his grandchildren, Brittany Cain (Aaron) of Danville, Katelyn Thomas of Hume, IL, Latoya Unroe (Brian Varbel) of Danville and Zach Thomas of Fairmount. He is also survived by his five great grandchildren.
