Though Kimberly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kimberly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Dick Hulsey and Patricia Hulsey (Blair); her husband Dennis Lemons; her son Stephen Lemons (Kaci) of Mount Vernon; her granddaughter Kenleigh Lemons of Mount Vernon; and her brother Chris Hulsey (Cathy) of Maryville, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
Memorials may be made in Kimberly's honor to the Lemons family, in care of Dennis Lemons, to go towards a college fund for Kenleigh.
