He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Martin and Edna Martin (Richardson); his wife Debbie Martin (Conner); and his sisters, Midge and Peggy.

He is survived by: his son Jimmy Martin (Stacey) of Mt. Vernon; his brother Charles Martin (Liz) of Peoria; and his sister-in-law Donna Jean Essley (Frank) of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren.
