It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Lester Rogers of Illiopolis, Illinois, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Samuel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Samuel farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Rogers and Leola Dellomo Rogers; and his sister Beverly Pfiefer. He is survived by: his siblings, Jesse L. Rogers (Sharon), Rita Calbow (Jerry), Leola (Micki), Hildebrandt (Mike), Vickie Upp and Tina Miller (Joe). He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Sam specifically requested no flowers and instead to have memorial donations made to the llliopolis Christian Church (304 Anne Street, Illiopolis, IL 62539).
