It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gordy of Illiopolis, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Gordy; and her great grandchild Dakota Land. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia King of Sherman; her grandchildren, Twyla Faulkner of Springfield, Tina Mitchell of Springfield, Teresa Land (Dale) of Clarksville, TN. and Trever Faulkner (Jennifer) of Pleasant Plains; and her siblings, Eleanor West of Illiopolis, Marcella Peterson of Pekin and Don Sheets of Decatur. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
