He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James E. Carey and Pearlina Carey (Smith); his wife Marvella June Carey; and his children, Michael Carey of Altamont, Cheryl Carey of Nokomis, Margaret Hilbert of Illiopolis and Steven Carey of Calhoun. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
