It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Rogers (Illiopolis, Illinois), who passed away on April 27, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Rogers and Elsie Rogers; and his siblings, Homer, Robert E., Jesse (Sam), Joyce Thompson and Sue Hohenstein.
He is survived by: his wife Joella; his children, Debbie Sullivan (Jerry) of Decatur, David Rogers (Deborah) of Illiopolis and Tim Rogers (Cindy) of Ruskin, FL.; his siblings, Frank Rogers (Terri) of Avondale, AZ and Linda LaTessa of Springfield; his grandchildren, Amber Jensen (Jason), Matt Rotz (Erin), Clint Sullivan and Christy Smith (Adam); and his stepgranddaughters, Alicia Mullen (Brad) and Tiffany Cox (Wade). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
