She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Adams and Bessie Adams (Shartzer); her husband Max Eugene Carey; and her siblings, Frank, Arthur, Benjamin, Leroy, Joe Adams, Mamie Patrick and Shirley Daley.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Patton (Bryan) of Mt. Auburn; her grandchildren, Nic Patton of Mt. Auburn, Jensen O'Brien (Kenny) of Morrisonville and Tess Patton of Mt. Auburn; her great grandchild Coop O'Brien; her sister Grace; and her sister-in-law Luella List of Springfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
