George Ford Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2020, at the age of 83, George Ford of Illiopolis, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Ford and Georgena Ford (Leka); his wife Norma Jean Clark; his sons, Rick E. Ford (Janet) of Illiopolis, Douglas B. Ford (Bev) of Lenoir City, Timothy A. Ford (Joanne) of Pasadena and Tyler J. Ford (Crysti) of Decatur; his siblings, Richard (Theresa) of Naples, Florida and Susan Brackett (Kenneth) of Naples, Florida; and his close friend Cathy Tapscott of Springfield. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic a private family graveside service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to Illiopolis Christian Church or the charity of donor's choice.
