It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Carey (Illiopolis, Illinois), born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Blackwell and Martha Blackwell (Watson); her husband Roy Carey; her son Ricky Carey; and her brother Ronnie Blackwell.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Snyder (Billy) and Rex Carey; her grandsons, Bryan Smith and Kevin Bradley Smith (Emily); her great grandchildren, Kipton and Kylar Smith; her sister Linda Dickison (Jerry); and her pet Smokey.
