It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Eileen Heaton of Illinois City, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin and Wilma Sims (Morris); her children, Cathi Figart and Noah Heaton; her stepfather Albert Ginneberge; and her siblings, Donna Petersen and Bill Sims.

She is survived by: her husband Ronnie; her children, Arlyn Heaton (Dawn), Richard Heaton (Susanne) and Susan Martin; her children-in-law, Roger Figart and Kari Heaton; her siblings, Joanne Frederick, Carol Ginneberge and Michael Sims (Nancy); and her brother-in-law Gordon Petersen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
