It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn McGinnis (Illinois City, Illinois), born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son David McGinnis; her great grandchild Hunter; and her siblings, Oscar Davis, LaVerne Davis and Darlene Davis.
She is survived by: her parents, Louis Bert and Willie Blanche Davis (Tapscott); her spouse Ralph W. McGinnis; her children, Nancy Vroman (Paul), Sharon Wynn, Cathy Renteria (Rolando), Taylor Ridge, Steven McGinnis (Glenna) and Michael McGinnis (Tracy); and her siblings, LaVeta Bear, Groomer Davis (Mary Ann), Nadine Groharing (Bernard) and Vicki Morris. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
