Roberta Mae Syester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Mae Syester (Hutsonville, Illinois), who passed away on July 1, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley Rodgers and Effie Jane Rodgers (Ayers); her husband Joe E. Syester; her sons, Dennis Syester, David Syester and Michael R. "Mike" Syester; her brother Leo "Bud" Rodgers; and her brother-in-law Charles (Patricia Syester).
She is survived by: her children, Brian E. Syester of Terre Haute, IN and Candice L.; her children-in-law, Stephen M. "Steve" Mahurin of Farmersburg, IN, Joyce Syester of Linton, IN and Betty Syester; and her sister Bernadine Reed of O'Fallon, MO. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
