She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert J. and Betty Jane Brauer (Miller); and her husband Robert W. Helmholtz. She is survived by: her sons, John J. Helmholtz and Steven R. "Stevie" Helmholtz; her siblings-in-law, Mark D. and Beverly L.; and also, Tina Brauer, Green, Darrell Sternard and Sturgeon. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
