He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Joseph Pierson, Jr. and Sara Kay Pierson (Brown); his brother Jack; and his brother-in-law Nolan Carter. He is survived by: his wife Connie Rae Pierson (Coleman); his son Justin Gorbett (Kelci Dougherty); his grandson Noah; his son Nic Pierson; his stepson Gary Coleman; his grandchildren, Xavier, Bentley and Destiny; his sister Cathy Carter; his aunts, Sue Inboden and Barb Webster; and his pet Midnight. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
