John R. Vandevender Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2023, at the age of 69, John R. Vandevender of Hutsonville, Illinois, born in Clinton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father H. Leroy Vandevender; his sister Dianne E. Pollard; and his brother-in-law Rick Pollard. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Libby" Vandevender (Neild); his wife Betty Vandevender (Engelbrecht) of Hutsonville, IL; his children, Jonathan Vandevender of Sullivan, IN, Elizabeth Cosat (Chad) of Danville, IL and Victoria Dunavan of Oakwood, IL; his grandchildren, Alex Cosat, Emma Cosat, Myra Magill (Trevor), Madyson Fraker (Michael), Mylee Vandevender, Samantha Dunavan and Sidney Dunavan; his great grandchild Jade Magill; and his sisters, Connie Storckman (Laddie) of Hutsonville, IL and Carolyn Kay Smith (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
