He was predeceased by: his parents, Elda Oren O'Dell and Clista O'Dell (Auteberry); and his siblings, Rowena Watson, Norma Lee Shaffer and Oren Olen O'Dell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darla O'Dell (Nick Atencio) and Laura (Shawn Griffin); his grandson Shawn; his great grandchildren, Rhett and Riley; and his siblings, Lulu Finney, Jean Parkes, Donna Binder, Bill O'Dell, Darlene Schuchmann, Gary O'Dell and Twyla Boa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
