Dana D. Mehler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dana D. Mehler of Hutsonville, Illinois, who passed away on May 15, 2024 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dana leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Dana may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Parmer Boyd and Lottie Boyd (Elliott); her husband Ransom Mehler; her brother Norman L. Boyd; and her son Stephen Boyd Mehler.
She is survived by: her children, Gale Dean (Glenda Mehler), Marvin Ray (Martha Mehler) and Sara; and her children-in-law, Robert Rayhel and Libby Mehler. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Daughters of the American Revolution ("DAR"), and memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
